The Role
AH Peters is one of Australia’s oldest motor body builders, now based in Wetherill Park we are looking for driven and reliable individuals to join our workshop. As part of the workshop team you will be responsible for aspects of manufacturing truck bodies, these include preparing (cutting and folding) materials, welding, preparing prior to painting and electrical installations. You will also assist with any other duties as and when required.
Skills/Experience
- Trade Qualifications and or experience in Motor Body Building and/or Metal Fabrication and/or Spray Painting and/or Electrical.
- Experience in a truck body building or fabrication industry environment.
- Experience working within a workshop environment.
- Assembly experience.
- Use of power tools.
- Use of Gantry Crane and/or Forklift tickets highly regarded.
- 3rd & 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply.

- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Solid time management skills and ability to priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
