Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented RTO Administration Assistant to join our Education team. In this key support role, you'll help ensure our training and certification processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard, supporting the development of lifesavers across Queensland.

What You'll Do:

Process qualifications, statements of attainment, and other award documentation
- Accurately enter and maintain student training and assessment records
- Verify training records and certification information before issue
- Support AVETMISS reporting requirements and data submissions
- Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring information integrity
- Generate reports and assist with training administration activities
- Liaise with Clubs, Education Branches, Trainers and Assessors regarding training records and award information
- Maintain confidential records in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and administrative efficiencies within the Education Division
About You:

Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong administrative experience with a proven ability to provide accurate support to multiple stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing reports and meeting deadlines
- Available to provide occasional weekend support for committee meetings, when required
- Certificate III or IV in Business or a related qualification (highly desirable)
- Experience working within an education, training, or RTO environment (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of Student Management Systems such as VETtrak or aXcelerate (highly desirable)
- Experience processing qualifications, certificates, or student records (highly desirable)
- AVETMISS reporting experience (highly desirable)
- Understanding of the RTO Standards (highly desirable)
- Experience working with volunteers or within community-focused organisations (highly desirable)
