ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at RAAF Amberley. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, building a positive team culture and delivering exceptional customer service in a structured environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and support a team of approximately 20 front-of-house staff
- Provide strong team leadership, guidance and training
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service
- Assist with staff rosters and timesheets
- Support functions, events and day-to-day dining operations
- Maintain high service standards across the venue
- Work closely with management to contribute to the smooth running of operations
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience managing or supervising a front-of-house team
- Experience managing high-volume meal periods and service delivery
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Computer literacy for rostering, reporting and administration tasks
- Experience supporting functions and events
- Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Certificate IV in Leadership or Supervision highly regarded
