What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly motivated Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join the ANZ Marketing team. This role owns the end-to-end design, execution, optimisation, and measurement of email campaigns and multi-channel lifecycle journeys across Tesla vehicle products. The successful candidate will deliver measurable improvements in customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue while upholding Tesla brand standards across all owned and partner channels.
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland
What You'll Do-
Support the execution of weekly email campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys (onboarding, nurture, post-purchase, service reminders, delivery updates, Energy upsell, win-back).
-
Assist in writing and refining high-converting copy and content that aligns with Tesla’s brand voice; collaborate with creative and design teams.
-
Help build and maintain segmentation using CRM data and behavioural triggers (e.g., website visits, email engagement).
-
Participate in A/B testing (subject lines, send times, CTAs); analyse results and document learnings.
-
Monitor campaign performance using first-party data, Tesla CRM, and reporting dashboards; assist in compiling weekly insights and monthly reports.
-
Track key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and list hygiene (target: 95%+).
-
Support brand compliance: ensure assets, templates, and partner materials follow Tesla’s guidelines; assist in preparing toolkits for Certified Installers and field teams.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, Charging, Energy, Legal) on campaign alignment and regional initiatives.
-
Identify automation or process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
-
Support ad-hoc marketing requests from regional stores and channel partners, including print collateral templates and local-area activations.
-
Stay curious: monitor industry trends and share insights to inform future campaigns.
What You'll Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or CRM-related roles — ideally in e-commerce, automotive, fintech, or DTC environments.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, Google Analytics, and Excel
- Strong written communication skills — able to write clear, concise, and brand-aligned copy.
- Comfortable working with data and using insights to support decisions — even at a foundational level.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset: eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent proven ability).
- Willingness to travel occasionally within ANZ for events or team collaboration.
