Are you a passionate, organized team player looking for a dynamic role in a supportive workplace?
Located in the heart of Wentworthville (just a quick 7-minute walk from public transport!), we are a growing dental practice that prides itself on integrity and a genuinely caring approach to our patients. Our fantastic reputation in the community is all thanks to our incredible, dedicated staff.
As our practice expands, we are looking for a warm, collaborative professional to take on a highly valued hybrid role bridging the gap between clinical care and the front desk: our new Dental Assistant & Patient Coordinator.
If you have a positive "can-do" attitude, love guiding patients through their dental journey, and thrive in a structured, team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing: As the welcoming face and clinical support of our clinic, your dynamic day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Patient Coordination: Warmly welcoming patients, managing schedules, answering inquiries, and coordinating treatment plans to ensure a seamless and exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
- Chairside Assisting: Providing top-notch clinical support to our dentists to ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for in the chair.
- Clinical Preparation: Preparing treatment rooms efficiently for smooth daily operations.
- Infection Control: Managing sterilization processes and maintaining our high standards of clinical hygiene.
- Inventory Management: Ordering and organizing clinical consumables to keep the team well-equipped.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
- Coordination Skills: Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently discuss treatments, manage workflows, and build rapport with our community.
- Team Spirit: A demonstrated ability to operate seamlessly as part of a team, while also being able to prioritize your workload and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Personality: A friendly, approachable demeanor backed by superior customer service skills.
- Knowledge: A solid, confident understanding of infection control and sterilization policies.
Bonus Points:
Experience with general, cosmetic, implant, and orthodontic procedures is a fantastic advantage! However, if you don't have experience in all these clinical areas just yet, don't worry, we provide comprehensive training to the right candidate. A true passion for the dental industry and a willingness to learn and jump in where needed is an absolute MUST!
