About Us
Head to Health is all about making it easier for people to access mental health support when they need it most.
We provide a welcoming, safe and supportive space for adults experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges or times when life feels a little overwhelming. Our team offers immediate support, assessment, short-term therapeutic care and connection to the right services — helping people feel heard, supported and not alone.
Our Officer Centre and Lynbrook Satellite Hub work as part of a multidisciplinary team, bringing together different skills, experiences and perspectives to provide compassionate, person-centred care.
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and approachable Mental Health Clinician to join our team and help make a real difference in the lives of people in our community.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building genuine connections, thinking creatively, and working alongside people during some of their most challenging moments.
You’ll provide assessment, therapeutic support and care navigation for adults presenting with a range of mental health needs. You’ll work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and our wider team to help people understand their options, build on their strengths and connect with the support that’s right for them.
No two days will look the same one day may involve supporting someone experiencing significant distress, another may involve helping someone navigate services, and another may be a collaborative conversation with the team about how we can best support a consumer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Meeting people where they are and providing a warm, welcoming first point of contact.
- Completing mental health assessments and understanding each person’s individual story, strengths and needs.
- Providing evidence-informed therapeutic interventions and short-term support.
- Supporting people through periods of distress, uncertainty or change.
- Helping consumers connect with services, supports and pathways that best meet their needs.
- Working alongside a diverse multidisciplinary team including clinicians, peer workers and other support professionals.
- Contributing ideas, sharing knowledge and helping shape a positive team culture.
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and safe, ethical practice.
- Consulting will be across both the Officer and Lynbrook locations.
About You
You’re someone who believes that good mental health care starts with connection.
You might be a psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist, mental health nurse or another suitably qualified mental health professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
You’ll bring:
- Relevant qualifications and professional registration (where applicable).
- Experience supporting adults with mental health concerns.
- A warm, respectful and person-centred approach.
- Confidence completing assessments and supporting people experiencing emotional distress.
- The ability to build trust quickly and create meaningful therapeutic relationships.
- A willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team environment.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience in community mental health, primary care, crisis support or similar settings.
- Experience providing brief interventions or structured psychological therapies.
- Experience supporting people with complex needs, trauma backgrounds or co-occurring challenges.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Why Join Our Team?
Because mental health care is about people — not paperwork.
You’ll be joining a team that values compassion, collaboration and making a difference. You’ll have the opportunity to support people at an important point in their journey, while working alongside colleagues who genuinely care about the work they do.
We’re building a service where people feel welcomed, supported and respected — and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that.
If you’re looking for a role where your skills matter, your ideas are valued and your work has genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you.
