What you'll do
You will lead the development of tools, systems and training programs that build research capability across Queensland. You will provide statistical consultancy and data analysis support to clinician researchers, collaborate with health and research stakeholders to strengthen research quality and translation, and work with specialist teams to deliver statewide workforce capability-building initiatives.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Expertise in statistical consultancy and collaborative research in medical, public health, biometrical or other life-sciences research settings, including high-level knowledge of health data analysis and statistical methodologies.
Extensive experience with statistical packages such as R, STATA and SAS, office applications such as Excel and Word, and familiarity with REDCap and Python would be an advantage.
Experience in the development and delivery of education and training in statistical methods, including the ability to communicate statistical concepts to scientists and clinicians and support their real-world application.
Ability to provide high-level and effective written and oral communication, consultation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills at a senior level, and to manage client and stakeholder relationships in an environment of change.
