What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse on the Colorectal/UGI Ward, you will provide evidence-informed, patient-centred nursing care while working collaboratively with patients, carers and the wider healthcare team.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Deliver safe, timely and compassionate care for patients experiencing a range of complex health conditions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, care plans and progress reporting in line with professional standards.
- Support the education and development of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, students and fellow Registered Nurses.
- Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives and a culture of excellence within the ward.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
1. Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD
2. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
3. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
4. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
