At Ozcare, we are committed to supporting Queenslanders through our aged care, community, retirement living and hospital services. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Office Payroll Team in Kangaroo Point.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be actively involved in end-to-end payroll processing, resolving complex payroll issues, mentoring and supporting team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
As a trusted senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Payroll Team Leader and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of payroll services. Your expertise, reliability, and collaborative approach will be highly valued as you support both the team and the wider payroll function.
Role Requirements
Extensive end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation.
Experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and employment obligations.
Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching or supporting payroll team members.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Experience with Preceda, Dayforce, or similar systems (desirable but not essential)
