Tasks & Responsibilities:
Support the finance function with accurate and timely information is essential.
- Bookkeeping, treasury, general accounting and financial accounting
- Support daily treasury operations and end-of-month processes.
- Use of Procuret’s third party accounting systems (Daily) and inhouse ERP system
- Reviewing and preparing monthly Business Activity (BAS) and Income Activity Statements (IAS) for the group companies
- Preparing group consolidations, intercompany eliminations, manual journals and month end adjustments
- Preparing monthly withholding tax reporting, payroll tax reporting, and manage superannuation reporting
- Engage with Procuret’s external funders, accounting and taxation advisers of the Procuret group of companies
- Maintaining accurate accounting of any account maintenance related transactions (Maintained Daily)
- Preparation of various Management reports (Monthly)
- Listing, updating and maintaining data within Procuret as part of impairment setting and reserve tracking (Daily)
- Other tasks determined by reporting manager and as essential to the ongoing financial operations of Procuret
What we're looking for?
For this entry level role, we are looking for:
- Tertiary educated in accounting (undergraduate or recent graduate)
- Experience in a finance operations function is preferred
- Begun or about to begin CPA or CA studies
- Strong communicator; able to explain complex scenarios to various stake holders in simple plain language
- Someone who thrives on making sense of data and is not afraid to dive into new tasks; and
- Enjoys working in small teams and fast paced environment.
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
