About the Role
Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates across a range of roofing, cladding and facade projects.
Working closely with clients, suppliers and project delivery teams, you will play a key role in securing future work and supporting successful project outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing, cladding and facade projects
- Review project documentation, drawings and specifications
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Develop pricing strategies and construction methodologies
- Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering initiatives
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
- Assist with project handovers to delivery teams
- Support continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes
What You'll Bring
- 5–10+ years' experience within roofing, cladding, facades or commercial construction
- Trade background in Roof Plumbing, Carpentry, Cladding Installation or similar highly regarded
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing and cladding systems
- Experience interpreting architectural and construction drawings
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Estimating experience highly regarded; however, training can be provided for the right candidate with strong industry experience
