The Surfers Paradise Beach Cafe have an excellent opportunity for a Full - time Chef to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
- Assisting in menu planning, stock control, and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with Australian regulations.
- Supervising and training kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and service.
- Monitoring portion control and minimising food wastage.
Applicants for this position should:
- Have relevant formal qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications
- In some cases, a number of (3-5) years fulltime employment may be considered in place of formal qualifications
- Possess strong knowledge of food safety and WHS requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Remuneration
$79,000-$80,000 per annum plus superannuation
