Kitchen Manager – Caxton Street Brewing Company
Caxton Street Brewing Company is looking for a passionate and considerate Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and help drive the next stage of our food offering.
We’re a busy independent brewery venue built around great beer, live sport, events, functions, comedy, and genuine hospitality. Our kitchen is focused on delivering quality, consistent, approachable food in a fast-paced environment - primarily burger-driven with a strong supporting offering of sides and share-style food.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership and management just as much as cooking. Someone who can embrace our systems, culture, and operational structure while still bringing their own ideas, standards, and energy to the role.
We’re looking for considered leadership, someone who can lead from the front, support their team, stay calm under pressure, and help create a kitchen culture people genuinely enjoy being part of.
About the role:
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations and service
- Manage prep systems, ordering, rostering, and stock control
- Drive consistency and presentation across the menu
- Maintain strong food safety and cleanliness standards
- Support and mentor the kitchen team
- Work closely with venue management on service flow and operations
- Help evolve and refine the menu offering over time

- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience managing high-volume service environments
- Passion for quality burgers, sides, and approachable brewery food
- Calm, solutions-focused mindset during busy periods
- Strong understanding of kitchen systems, prep, and consistency
- A team-first attitude with genuine care for staff culture and guest experience
- Someone motivated to build and improve, not just maintain
