We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our busy Endocrinology and Diabetes Department. Working alongside experienced administration staff, nurses and medical specialists, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
About the role:
This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you'll provide administrative support to Staff Specialists while helping coordinate outpatient clinics and patient appointments.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing clinic bookings and patient appointments
- Answering and responding to telephone enquiries
- Typing and distributing clinical correspondence
- Supporting outpatient clinic operations
- Liaising with patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Providing efficient administrative support across the department
