Apart from general medical and surgical beds there are 27 licensed rehabilitation beds, a cardiac care unit and a 15-bed mental health unit, known as the Ramsay Clinic Orange.

Job Description
Join our dedicated Hotel Services team as a Casual General Services Officer at Dudley Private Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an all-rounder to become part of a supportive team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in a rewarding and fast-paced environment.
Working across a variety of Hotel Services functions, you will have the opportunity to be cross trained in areas including domestic housekeeping, environmental and infectious cleaning, food services, laundry and kitchen support.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the hospital, including wards and operating theatres.

Undertaking domestic, environmental and infectious cleaning in accordance with hospital procedures and infection control standards.

Supporting food services, including meal delivery and service to patients.

Assisting with end-of-day cleaning and maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Supporting kitchen operations and assisting chefs as required.

Undertaking laundry duties including washing, folding and storing linen and other items.

Ensuring equipment is cleaned, restocked and stored appropriately after use.

Working collaboratively with nursing staff, chefs and other hospital teams to support quality patient care.

Maintaining a friendly, professional and supportive approach at all times.
About You
You are a reliable, hardworking and adaptable individual who takes pride in providing high-quality service. You enjoy variety in your work and are comfortable learning new skills across different areas of Hotel Services.
You have a strong attention to detail, understand the importance of cleanliness and infection control in a healthcare environment, and enjoy working as part of a large and supportive team.
This role would suit someone looking for flexible casual work, including those seeking a second job or availability that works around school hours.
You Will Also Bring

Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or hotel services is highly regarded.

Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is desirable.

Experience using auto scrubbers and polishing machines is advantageous.

A strong commitment to cleanliness, safety and infection prevention and control.
