About us:
The Medical/Surgical Ward 1 Unit is located, Block one on the first floor of the Gladstone Hospital. The service offers a total of 31 inpatient beds which cover sub-acute, medical, surgical, rehabilitation and palliative care patients. The Medical/Surgical Unit provides clinical care through the development and maintenance of relevant and proven patient care standards involving ongoing research in clinical applications.
About the role:
As the Enrolled Nurse, you will perform under the direction of a Registered Nurse, and be responsible for delivering competent, evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice to all patients in the ward. This includes and not restricted to, Surgical, Medical, Orthopaedic, and sub-acute patients.
About you:
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
Proactively identify and manage patients within the inpatient setting.
Understanding of the importance of quality, safety, and risk in healthcare environment
Able to demonstrate effective relationships with the range of health professionals involved in providing patient care.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $91,510 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $38.11 - $40.45 p.h.
