You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
- Play a key leadership role in a first-of-its-kind project to strengthen security and emergency preparedness at NSW’s busiest transport interchanges.
- Establish and deliver an end-to-end program of minor capital projects and other initiatives at high-profile locations such as Central Station.
- Partner with internal and external asset owners to define project requirements, secure funding and approvals, manage risks and oversee delivery of initiatives including infrastructure improvements that strengthen public safety.

About you
- Experienced project professional with tertiary qualifications in a Project Management or Engineering or equivalent field.
- Capable of delivering multiple projects simultaneously in a complex operating environment with constrained resources, tight timeframes and changing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience delivering capital projects and initiatives within transport, infrastructure or other large-scale environments, from planning through to implementation
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate outcomes across internal and external asset owners and executive stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and building support for change to achieve project outcomes.
- Highly driven, flexible and willing to work outside regular hours and travel on occasion, knowing that your work will help to protect our passengers, frontline staff and critical infrastructure.
This is a temporary opportunity from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028, based in Sydney (Elizabeth Street) with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
