Weldworks Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Painting Trades Worker to work within our client’s construction operations, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces across NSW, Australia. This is a full-time position where you will work as part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Salary: A$90,000–A$98,000 plus superannuation

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate the following:
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Painting and Decorating
- At least two years of proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- A high level of accuracy and precision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Surface Preparation: Knowledge of techniques used to clean, sand, and prime surfaces before painting
- Application Techniques: Proficiency in applying different types of paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Colour Mixing: Ability to mix and match paint colours to achieve the required shades and finishes
- Tool Maintenance: Understanding of how to properly maintain and store painting tools and equipment
- Lifting and Carrying Equipment: Ability to lift and carry heavy paint containers, ladders, and other equipment
- Dexterity: Fine motor skills required for precise painting and detailed work
- Quality Control: Ability to ensure paint is applied evenly and that surfaces are free from imperfections
- Finish Work: Attention to finishing touches that enhance the overall appearance of painted surfaces
- Protective Gear: Ability to use masks, gloves, and other protective equipment to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals
- Work Environment: Ability to ensure proper ventilation and safely handle hazardous materials
- Regulations: Compliance with safety standards and regulations established by occupational safety authorities
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean work area
