Our Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Climate & Reporting Manager to join our Sustainability team sitting within the Culture and Capability division. This role reports to the Director, Strategy & Insights and is responsible for managing and optimising Mirvac’s response to voluntary ESG disclosures, coordinating internal HSES reporting, and managing climate risk documentation.
The role exists to create efficient responses to maintain and optimise Mirvac ratings on a small, targeted list of voluntary indices; coordinate internal HSES reporting; and support the work to define, validate, and document Mirvac’s climate scenarios and risks.
This role focuses effort on curated, decision‑relevant outputs after a reduction in scope and volume of previous disclosures.
Climate risk credibility
- Review best and peer practice in climate scenario development and risk/opportunity assessment to ensure: coverage is complete, scenario assumptions are fit-for-purpose, scenario analysis processes remain robust

Create and maintain documentation to ensure Mirvac’s climate strategy work is robust and credible

Establish governance processes for internal reporting and approval of climate documentation, aligned to HSES Charter requirements, including linkage to CRRO monitoring and management

Establish clear review cadences to maintain ongoing robustness of scenarios, assumptions and outputs

Support provision of documentation for audit and assurance processes, including: preparing materials for assurers, responding to queries and challenge, ensuring audit traceability of assumptions, methodologies and outputs

Support the development and implementation of Mirvac’s portfolio climate adaptation approach in asset and investment decision-making, including: requirements for developments, application to managed assets, application to acquisitions

Contribute to the development of the climate risk management framework, including linkage to controls, owners and actions

Manage the supplier relationship and application of the Aon climate risk assessment tool.
ESG indices
- Manage a reduced and prioritised set of ESG indices, ensuring effort is proportionate to stakeholder value and materially lower than prior reporting scope

Prepare structured inputs within defined templates and reduced scope outputs

Continuously assess the value of ESG indices and recommend changes to scope where appropriate

Leverage technology and AI to streamline repeatable responses and reduce manual effort
ESG performance and toolkit ownership
- Maintain and evolve Mirvac’s GRI-aligned ESG toolkit, ensuring it reflects the most relevant and decision‑useful performance indicators for investors and internal stakeholders

Regularly review ESG metrics to ensure continued relevance, removing or refining low‑value measures
Performance integration and narrative alignment
- Partner with the Director, Strategy & Insights to ensure ESG performance data supports broader climate and ESG risk narratives, strategic positioning, and investor expectations

Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager to ensure ESG data is correctly interpreted and outputs are translated into clear, decision‑relevant messaging

Ensure consistency between ESG metrics and how performance is represented externally and internally
Internal reporting coordination
- Coordinate STI ESG Scorecard performance inputs across the Sustainability team and broader organisation

Act as a central point of contact for ESG performance information and requests

Work with the PA & Reporting Coordinator to ensure internal reporting is well‑structured and consistently delivered to a high standard
Your point of difference
You’re an experienced sustainability professional with deep expertise in climate risk, adaptation, carbon emissions and ESG performance. With a strong track record in reporting and analytics, you know how to cut through complexity, focusing on meaningful insights and business value rather than reporting for reporting’s sake.
Highly collaborative and influential, you build trusted relationships across a matrix organisation, bringing together diverse stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes. You have a sharp eye for detail, a disciplined approach to data quality, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable reporting that supports decision-making.
With more than 10 years’ experience in climate change, carbon emissions or a related field, you bring a strong understanding of ESG frameworks and benchmarks such as MSCI, PRI, GRI or similar. You have experience improving reporting processes and efficiencies within a corporate environment and are recognised for your analytical mindset, stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
You’re comfortable working with reporting systems, Microsoft tools and emerging AI technologies, and are excited by opportunities to enhance sustainability reporting, insights and performance through innovation.
