The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, professional and detail-driven cook or chef to join our busy team across our vibrant daytime offering — this role will be across day time shifts only and located in our Burraneer bay store with the possibility of supporting our offsite farmers markets , from food preparation to service where weekend availability is a must. You'll enjoy working closely with our store manager, butchers & FOH casuals where fresh, seasonal and house made produce is our focus and amazing customer experience is the priority.
This full-time role, reporting directly to the store manager, you’ll spend time preparing house made meals, sauces, condiments and catering orders. Knowledge of food quality, safety and hygiene is a must. Successful applicants will be well presented, team players and great communicators with a positive mindset.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience and completed qualifications as a Cook / Chef
- Ability to work within a team and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work across a rotating roster across the week
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and an elevated palette
- Ability to manage your own section delivering consistency, high standards and organisation
- Food hygiene, knowledge and compliance

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
