Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician (Qualified or Apprentice)
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician—whether you’re fully qualified or currently completing your apprenticeship—to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of commercial refrigeration systems, with ongoing support and additional training in post-mix systems provided. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving technical challenges, and being part of a supportive team, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HVAC-R systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults across refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Working on ice machines (installation, servicing, and repairs)
- Installing and maintaining air conditioning systems
- Ensuring all work meets safety and environmental standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the team
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- ARC Licence and full RAC
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial refrigeration
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to read manuals and schematics
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, reliable attitude with good time management
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster (approx. 1 in 5 weeks, with allowance)
- Availability for approved overtime when required
- Experience with Simpro Mobile (a bonus, not essential)
