What to Expect
The Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that every Tesla location across Australia and New Zealand operates smoothly, safely, and in alignment with our brand standards. The successful candidate will support facilities operational processes and focus on providing the highest service experience to our customers. This is a hands-on, multi-site role for someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, communication and delivering seamless support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do-
Support 40+ locations across Retail, Service, Delivery, Energy, and Distribution in Australia & New Zealand

Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day facility operations such as, reactive and preventative maintenance, via internal work order management tools.

Onboard and support new and existing vendors to ensure safety protocols and service quality standards are met.

Manage purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable for facility-related services and supplier contracts — ensuring compliance and timely processing.
- Maintain and update central facility records, including asset registers, maintenance logs and safety checklists.

Oversee office consumables and stationery orders across the region, maintaining inventory levels and minimising waste.
- Provide regular reporting on key metrics: response times, vendor performance, cost savings, and incident trends.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions, build relationships with local teams, and ensure alignment with Tesla’s operational and sustainability standards.

What You'll Bring-
3 – 5 years of experience in facilities management in a multi-site, high-velocity environment (retail, automotive, logistics, or industrial preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with contractor/service provider coordination, maintenance delivery and compliance requirements.

Ability to manage work orders, purchase orders and invoices with accuracy and efficiency, and drive successful vendor relationships.
- Strong organisation and communication skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (for document management and reporting).

Ability to integrate AI tools to everyday business workflows.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, anticipate issues, and take initiative without constant direction.

Enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectations and driving continuous improvements.
