Anchor & Aim Support Services is seeking a reliable, respectful and neurodiversity-affirming support worker to provide flexible assistance to an adult participant.
This is a casual role offering approximately 3–4 hours per week.
The role may include:
- Attending appointments and events
- Community-access participation & support
- Occasional home-based support
- Driving the participant’s vehicle or using your own suitable vehicle
- Loading and transporting a manual folding wheelchair
Preferred availability:
- Monday during the day or afternoon
- Tuesday during the day, afternoon or evening
- Wednesday during the day or afternoon
- Thursday during the day, afternoon or evening
- Occasional weekends
About you:
- Female or non-binary in their 20s–40s
- Neurodiversity-affirming and queer-friendly
- English as first language
- Comfortable around chickens inside the home
- Comfortable loading a manual folding wheelchair
- Full driver’s licence and suitable vehicle
- Vehicle must have space for a folded manual wheelchair
- Happy to drive the participant’s vehicle when required
Required documents:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Australian working-rights evidence
- Driver’s licence, vehicle registration and appropriate insurance
Previous experience providing neurodiversity-affirming community access and personal support is strongly preferred.
