The Digital Partnership team is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative support and contribute to the delivery of effective ICT services across Queensland. In this role, you will deliver efficient business support functions, with a focus on financial administration, human resources and information management, ensuring services are provided accurately and within required timeframes. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to support the smooth operation of the team and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
What you'll do
As the Administration Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the business unit. You will coordinate meetings, events, travel arrangements and appointments, while delivering administrative support across a geographically dispersed team. Drawing on your strong organisational skills, you will assist with financial and human resource activities, including procurement, budgeting, asset management, SAP transactions, establishment maintenance and the provision of basic HR advice. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing business practices and recommending enhancements to systems and processes, while maintaining accurate records and information management systems. Through your excellent communication and customer service skills, you will build strong working relationships, collaborate effectively with stakeholders and support the delivery of high-quality business outcomes.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Ability to deliver high quality administrative support, with emphasis on coordinating multiple tasks and working unsupervised.
Knowledge of policies and practices relating to finance, human resources and records management.
Experience in the use of computers and software packages (eg. MS Office, electronic mail).
Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team situations and communicate clear explanations.
Experience in solving problems and implementing solutions within a set timeframe.
