Job Title: Pool Service Technician
Location: Padbury + surrounding suburbs
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: Average of 38 hours (Monday to Friday) with occasional weekend work.
Pay Rate: $25 – $40 per hour + super (based on experience)
Reports To: Business Owner / Senior Technician
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain residential swimming pools and spas
- Test water quality and add required chemicals
- Diagnose equipment faults and carry out basic repairs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Recommend and sell pool parts and equipment when needed
- Complete jobs accurately and on schedule
- Use mobile apps to manage jobs and record service details
Skills and Attributes
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools
- Confident dealing with customers face-to-face
- Able to follow a schedule and manage time well
- Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted WA driver’s license
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Previous experience in pool servicing or a similar trade (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current, unrestricted WA driver’s license
- Have the legal right to work in Australia
- Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Speak and write fluent English
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Be confident communicating with customers
- Be comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps to complete job details
- Demonstrate common sense and practical capability, including confidence with basic tools, plugs, hoses, and timekeeping
- Be available to work Monday to Friday, between approx. 7:30am–4:00pm
- Have a proactive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
- Be genuinely interested in long-term employment within a growing business
We also value:
- Previous experience in pool servicing
- Confidence with diagnosing equipment issues and carrying out basic repairs
