What you'll be doing
As a Medical Diagnostic Radiographer, you will deliver high quality diagnostic imaging services while providing compassionate, patient focused care across overnight and rotational shifts. You will work in accordance with professional standards, departmental policies and best practice to support safe, efficient and accurate imaging services.
Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations while maintaining the highest professional and radiation safety standards.
Deliver primarily overnight imaging services across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, with daytime shifts as required.
Provide clear communication, reassurance and support to patients throughout their imaging journey.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflows, quality patient outcomes and exceptional service delivery.
Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, infection prevention and continuous service excellence.

Essential Criteria
License: Eligible for NSW EPA Radiation Licence iA14
Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in general radiography including but not limited to general and trauma, operation suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy.
Experience working in a busy hospital environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions.
