Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership, expert consultancy and support to the multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care while driving continuous improvement across Ward 2Q. You will achieve this by:
Providing advanced clinical expertise in acute medical nursing and complex patient care.
Leading and supporting nurses to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.
Collaborating with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Driving quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance and service development.
Mentoring, coaching and developing staff to build capability and promote best practice.
Supporting education, research and innovation to continually improve clinical services.
About you:
You're an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while empowering others to succeed. You'll bring:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA/NMBA.
Extensive clinical experience in acute medical nursing.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
Advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
A commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and person-centred care.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards one) will be highly regarded.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
