We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller / Service Controller to join our Macksville Workshop Team. For the right candidate, this role is available immediately.
- Lead and support technicians and apprentices on the workshop floor
- Schedule and control daily workshop workflow and priorities
- Allocate jobs based on skill level, availability and urgency
- Provide technical guidance, diagnostic support and quality oversight
- Monitor productivity, job progress and potential bottlenecks
- Ensure all work meets OEM, WHS, NHVR and dealership standards
- Liaise with Service Advisors, Parts and Operations teams to ensure smooth operations
- Trade‑qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician
- Experience as a Foreman, Workshop Controller or Senior Technician
- Background in heavy mechanical repairs — truck experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and technical capability
- Confident leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dealership and Isuzu experience highly regarded
- HR Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time‑management and computer skills
- Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members
- A key leadership role in a well‑established Isuzu dealership
