Mobile Vet Nurse / Pet Groomer (Contractor) – Brisbane, Logan, Redlands & Tweed
Mobile Vet Nurses is expanding, and we're looking for 1–2 experienced, confident veterinary nurses to join our growing team in each of the above regions.
This is a flexible role perfect for someone who has free time in between clinical shifts, enjoys working independently, building relationships with clients, and making a genuine difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
About the Role
We provide in-home veterinary nursing services, pet transport, medication administration, sedation-free cat grooming, and support services for pet owners throughout South East Queensland.
You'll be working independently in clients' homes, often with elderly, anxious, or fractious pets, so confidence, excellent handling skills, and strong communication are essential.
Essential Requirements
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Certified in Pet Grooming
Extremely confident working independently and unsupervised
Experienced and confident handling cats, including elderly, nervous, and fractious cats
ABN and own reliable vehicle
Personal insurance
Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional presentation and reliability
Highly Regarded
Cat grooming experience, particularly:
- De-matting
- Lion clips
- Hygiene trims
- De-shedding
- Sedation-free grooming
As a large part of our business involves sedation-free cat grooming and de-matting services, grooming experience will be highly valued.
