Responsibilities:
Join a procurement team where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring purchasing activities align with policy, compliance, and value-for-money principles. This is a detail-driven role working closely with stakeholders across multiple categories.
- Review and validate purchase requisitions against procurement policies and thresholds
- Apply a standardised checklist including quotes, attachments, categories, supplier verification, and approvals
- Action requisitions with Approve, Hold, or Reject decisions, providing clear feedback to stakeholders
- Assess supplier quotes, scopes, rate cards, and contract alignment
- Ensure compliance with sourcing requirements (single/multiple quotes as required)
- Conduct simple RFQs for low-complexity purchases when needed
- Validate preferred supplier usage and contract adherence
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and audit trails
- Identify non-compliance trends, recurring spend, and improvement opportunities
- Engage with stakeholders to provide guidance and ensure procurement best practices
- Escalate high-risk or non-compliant requisitions appropriately
Essential Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in procurement, buying, contracts, or commercial analysis
- Strong understanding of procurement policies, Delegations of Authority (DAL), and sourcing rules
- Experience reviewing quotes, scopes, and supplier justifications
- ERP or eProcurement system experience (Coupa highly regarded)
- Intermediate Excel skills and ability to work with digital workflows
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to categories such as FM, construction, logistics, plant/equipment, or consumables
- Experience with platforms such as Monday.com or dashboards for reporting
