Novotel Sydney West HQ is currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Reservations & Revenue Manager to lead the hotel's reservations function while maximising revenue performance through strategic pricing, inventory management and market analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who combines strong analytical capability with exceptional guest service skills.
About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for implementing revenue strategies, managing the reservations team, and optimising room revenue across all distribution channels.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximise hotel profitability

Manage all reservations activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service

Forecast occupancy, revenue, and market demand

Lead, coach and develop the Reservations team to achieve service excellence and commercial objectives

Ensure all group reservations are carried out in an accurate and time effective manner

Develop strong relationships with clients, follow up signed contract, prepayment and monitor group block and pick up/ no-shows and cancellations, effectively yield manage all available accommodation rooms

Maintain a clear understanding of all revenue related statistics i.e. competitor trends and statistics; average length of stay, average lead time of reservations and cancellations, allotment materialisation by room type and agent, pick up trends by market segment and price demand by season and market segment
Our perfect fit:

An experienced Reservations Specialist (Accor preferred) with excellent organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.

Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, forecasting, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.

Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail.

Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS.

Strong sales focus and the ability to upsell the hotel features.
