What you'll do
As the Senior Deployment Technician, you will play a key role in delivering workstation refresh and ICT deployment services across Queensland Health, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence. You will provide timely technical support through incident investigation and resolution, apply eHealth incident management processes to meet agreed service levels, and support the local Deployment Coordinator in managing team activities and program delivery. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful deployment, installation and replacement of ICT devices, maintain accurate stock and asset records, and uphold asset management integrity through adherence to established processes. You will also provide financial and administrative support related to quoting and ICT asset management, while delivering on-site and remote support services to ensure reliable technology outcomes across supported sites.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated technical expertise in the management, configuration, monitoring and implementation of ICT environments in one or more technical domains - See Appendix 1.
Ability to deliver high quality ICT support to clients, with an emphasis on managing workloads, prioritising tasks and working unsupervised.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve ICT related problems within defined Service Level Agreements.
Interpersonal skills and personal qualities that facilitate the development of good working relationships, including mentoring of junior staff to enhance the provision of quality client service in a team environment.
Developed oral and written communication skills that enable the creation and/or maintenance of system documentation, work instructions and technical reports for management.
Ability to quickly learn ServiceNow and ITIL Service Management processes (primarily request / CMDB / asset management)
