Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Freelance Business Development Manager to expand our accounting outsourcing business in the Australian market. The primary responsibility is to identify, approach, and engage local businesses, accounting firms, and CPA firms, presenting the benefits of outsourcing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, taxation, and related financial services to our skilled team in India.
The ideal candidate should have strong networking and sales skills, an understanding of the Australian accounting industry, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while managing the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target Australian businesses, accounting firms, CPA firms, and bookkeeping practices that can benefit from offshore accounting support.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
- Schedule and conduct meetings (virtual or in-person) with decision-makers.
- Present the company's accounting outsourcing solutions, service offerings, pricing, and value proposition.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable outsourcing solutions.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using a CRM system.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the delivery team in India to ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or client acquisition.
- Experience selling accounting, bookkeeping, financial, professional, or outsourcing services is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Australian business environment and accounting industry.
- Established network among Australian businesses, accounting firms, or CPA firms is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Pay: $66,271.88 – $155,516.04 per year
