Casa Jix Tech Systems is expanding our operations out of the Perth CBD. We are currently seeking an E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage the configuration, daily stability, and functional integration of our digital storefronts. This is a practical, systems-focused role where you will act as the technical owner of our online retail platforms, ensuring smooth customer journeys from landing pages to checkout.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration and maintenance of our multi-channel e-commerce ecosystem. You will troubleshoot backend system errors, monitor API integrations with external inventory databases, and manage payment gateway configurations. A significant part of your week will involve tracking platform up-time, managing catalogs, and implementing security patches or site updates in coordination with our engineering team. You will also look closely at site speed metrics, optimizing landing layouts and checkout funnels to reduce transaction friction.
What We Need From You
To fit into this team, you should have at least two years of commercial experience directly managing the backend of modern e-commerce software (such as Shopify Plus, Magento, or WooCommerce). You need a clear understanding of web tracking setups, product inventory logic, and how shopping cart APIs talk to logistics networks. Basic front-end debugging skills in HTML and CSS are essential for isolating layout bugs across different mobile and desktop browsers. You must also have a highly methodical approach to isolating system glitches under pressure.
