The Alyangula Golf Club on Groote Eylandt in the heart of the gulf of Carpentaria is looking to expand its team! We are looking for 1x live - on casual kitchen cook. For the right candidate, there is a possibility for full time or upskill on the position.
Who are we? The Alyangula Golf Club is a cosy regional golf club in East Arnhem Land. It is located on a beautiful local island with picturesque beaches, tracks, and fishing! The golf club offers a range of services from sports, souvenirs, gaming, gastro, and take-away liquor. It is the social hub of Groote!
Kitchen Cook requirements:
Minimum 1yr experience is a bonus (Not essential)
Food Safety Certificate
Ability to work in Australia
Relocation to Island
Kitchen Cook Duties:
Preparing Dishes & Meals
Assisting chefs of a higher grade
Practicing health and safety procedures
Other incidental duties within the kitchen

Accommodation provided at $50 or $100 per fortnight.

Minimum required stay of 6 MONTHS is essential. Club will pay for flights to island. Flights leave from Darwin, Cairns, and Brisbane.
Pay: $32.31 – $53.69 per hour
