We at PEOPLE CAST PTY LTD are seeking a Skilled Meat Worker to work on a full-time basis at Wangara, Perth, Western Australia, a meat industry business operated by Salumificio Pty Ltd.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:
- Relevant AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Relevant AQF Certificate IV preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant, full-time employment experience preferred.
- Ability to work on a full-time basis.
POSITION SALARY
$79,500 per annum (+ super).

Key duties include:
· Boning meat by separating meat, fat and tissue from bone;
· Slicing meat into specified cuts, portions and thicknesses using knives and meat-processing equipment;
· Cutting and trimming meat to required production and quality specifications;
· Breaking sides, quarters and primal cuts into standard meat cuts;
· Removing excess fat, connective tissue, bruising and other unwanted material;
· Preparing boned and sliced meat for packing, further processing, storage and distribution;
· Inspecting meat products to ensure quality, weight and production specifications are met;
· Safely operating and maintaining knives, slicing equipment and other meat-processing tools;
· Complying with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements;
· Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools and equipment associated with meat-
processing duties; and
· Performing any other duties reasonably required by the employer that are incidental to, connected with, or within the scope of the Skilled Meat Worker position and are consistent with the employee’s skills, training and experience.
Pay: From $79,500.00 per year
