About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out solid plastering work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas.
Key Duties
- Applying coats of plaster, cement render, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying bonding agents where required.
- Mixing plastering materials to the required consistency.
- Installing and finishing decorative plasterwork and mouldings where required.
- Repairing and restoring damaged plaster surfaces.
- Measuring, marking, and setting out plastering work in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
- Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, tradespersons, and other site personnel.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- Certificate III in Solid Plastering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience as a Solid Plasterer.
- Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial plastering projects.
- Sound knowledge of plastering materials, rendering techniques, and finishing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
