As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.
The Role
We are seeking a Sales Operations / Commercial Support professional to support our B2B sales function across quoting, contract administration, CRM governance, and internal coordination.
Please note that this is not a traditional reception or data-entry admin position. It sits at the intersection of sales, operations, and commercial execution, and is critical to ensuring that opportunities move efficiently from enquiry through to contract and delivery.
You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and senior management to ensure accuracy, visibility, and discipline across the sales pipeline.
If the right candidate has aptitude and skills, they will have the opportunity to move upwards within other internal departments, gaining invaluable experience in other areas to match growth!
The preference for this role is full-time, but we will consider part-time hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Support:
- Prepare, review, and issue quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Assist with contract and purchase order administration, ensuring correct commercial terms are captured
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, variations, and approvals
- Support bid and tender responses where required
Sales Operations & CRM
- Own the day-to-day administration of the CRM system
- Pipeline tracking and reporting
- Ensuring sales activity is correctly logged and updated
- Generate sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for management
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Process & Compliance
- Ensure sales documentation complies with internal policies and commercial frameworks
- Support continuous improvement of sales processes, templates, and systems
About You
You are detail-oriented but commercially minded. You understand that accuracy in sales administration directly affects revenue, margin, and customer experience.
You likely have:
- Experience in sales support, sales operations, commercial administration, or similar
- Exposure to CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, or equivalent)
- Confidence working with quotes, pricing, contracts, or POs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving B2B environment
We also provide company lunches every Tuesdays as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas.
