About the Role
Vaughan Constructions is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team.
In this role, you'll process invoices, maintain accurate financial records, and keep our payment procedures running smoothly, playing a key part in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
What you'll be doing:
Matching invoices against site instructions, material orders, and subcontractor/consultant orders
Checking invoice details in Lentune and submitting to Jobpac for approval
Preparing EFT batches for weekly and monthly payment runs
Tracking creditor payment terms and ensuring adherence
Managing the accounts payable inbox and handling creditor queries
Reconciling creditor statements at month end and resolving discrepancies
Checking ABN/GST compliance and subcontractor insurance details
Preparing final release letters and setting up new creditors in Jobpac
What we're looking for:
Demonstrated experience in an accounts payable role
Construction industry experience highly regarded
Experience with Jobpac and/or Lentune highly regarded
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
A genuine commitment to acting with integrity and professionalism
