Join the Junior Adventures Group team in Gladstone and help create exciting, engaging and unforgettable experiences for primary school children during our term time & Holiday HQ programs. Whether they're building rockets, scoring goals, creating masterpieces or making lifelong friendships, you'll be right there making every day memorable.
The Gladstone team are seeking educators who are studying or have completed a diploma or degree in Early Childhood, Education, Psychology, Youth Work, Social Work, Community Services or Healthcare.
We are looking for ACECQA qualified Casual Holiday HQ and Part-Time Term Time Educators who want to gain valuable experience with primary aged children! Offering 10–30 hours per week for roles, with regular ongoing shifts available for casual educators.
Service hours include:

Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am

Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm

School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

Mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA

National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

A genuine love for working with children.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.

Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.

Must have valid Australian work rights.
