We’re seeking an experienced Senior Waiter who is passionate about exceptional hospitality and takes pride in delivering polished, attentive service. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives in a premium dining environment and enjoys mentoring others while creating memorable guest experiences.
About the Role
As a Senior Waiter, you will play a key role in ensuring every service runs smoothly. You’ll provide exceptional table service, support the Front-of-House team and help maintain the high standards Lucette is known for. The role requires advanced waiting skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to provide high-quality customer experiences consistent with the standards of a premium dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional and attentive service to every guest
- Welcome guests, assist with reservations and provide menus and beverage lists
- Take customer orders and communicate them directly to the kitchen and bar
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine and other beverages
- Serve food and beverages and attend to guest requirements throughout service
- Open and serve wine and other beverages as required
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service across the dining area
- Assist with setting, clearing and resetting tables throughout service
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Build strong knowledge of Lucette’s food and beverage offerings
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Process customer payments and operate POS systems as required
About You
- Hospitality qualifications (Certificate III, IV or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a comparable restaurant environment
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is required
- A passion for premium hospitality delivering genuine guest experiences.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Calm, organised and confident in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation and strong attention to detail.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
