We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist to join our allied health team at our Canberra Clinic on a part-time or full-time basis (3-5 days per week).
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational health services, including fitness-for-work assessments, musculoskeletal screenings and functional testing. There will also be opportunities to provide onsite health, wellness and injury prevention services to our corporate clients.
Whether you're an experienced clinician or a recent graduate, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in occupational health. You'll receive ongoing support from our National Exercise Physiology Lead and Senior Physiotherapist while working as part of a collaborative and passionate multidisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Conducting fitness-for-work assessments, including musculoskeletal and functional capacity testing.

Completing assessments, medical histories and physical examinations.

Performing occupational health screening, including ECG, spirometry, audiometry, and drug and alcohol testing.

Delivering workplace health, wellness and injury prevention initiatives.

Conducting ergonomic assessments and providing practical injury prevention advice.

Maintaining accurate clinical records and preparing clear, professional reports.

Undertaking general administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the clinic.

Providing onsite occupational health services at client workplaces as required.

Working collaboratively with the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
The successful candidate will be a motivated Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist who enjoys working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment. You'll be passionate about promoting health and wellbeing and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Essential Requirements
Desirable-
Experience in occupational health or workplace rehabilitation.

Experience conducting functional, musculoskeletal or fitness-for-work assessments.

Experience delivering workplace health promotion, wellness or injury prevention programs.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and occupational health practices.
