Job Description
This opportunity is ideal for skilled individuals with experience in electrical, communications, engineering, or technical support environments.
Successful candidates will be engaged on an on-demand, Time & Materials (T&M) basis for project delivery assignments over a 3-year period.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, communications, RF, satellite, and related technical systems.
- Perform system installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports where required.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification, technical certification, or engineering degree.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, ACMA/Open Cabling, System Installation, Technical Drafting, Satellite Communications, or RF Systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Current Australian Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one, where applicable).
- Must be based in or willing to work in Canberra, ACT.
