We are launching an exciting new skewer restaurant Charcoal Chan on Kingsway in Glen Waverley, with our grand opening scheduled for July 2026. Our concept brings together quality ingredients, warm hospitality, and a vibrant dining atmosphere. As we prepare for opening, we are seeking dedicated and service‑focused Full-Time Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team. Successful candidates may commence immediately as we complete pre‑opening training and service preparation.
Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for providing professional, efficient, and friendly service while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver items promptly.
Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including tables, service stations, and workspaces.
Assist with food running, beverage making, table clearing, and general service support.
Operate POS systems and process payments with accuracy.
Ensure compliance with RSA requirements and food safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Uphold venue standards for presentation, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
Contribute to a positive team culture through communication, reliability, and professionalism.
Skills & Experience
Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Professional presentation and a customer‑focused mindset.
Basic POS knowledge is advantageous.
Current RSA certificate (required in Victoria).
