We’re partnering with a well-established food manufacturer in the Yatala area to recruit an experienced Production Manager to support production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who can think on their feet, keep standards high and lead from the front to achieve daily targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and manage the production team to deliver the daily production plan
- Delegate tasks effectively and allocate labour based on priorities and capability
- Be a visible, hands-on leader—jump on the tools where needed to keep production moving
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP & GMP, food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Maintain a strong attention to detail across checks, documentation and product presentation
- Support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive safety, quality and performance on shift
About you:
- Previous Production Manager experience within food manufacturing
- Solid working knowledge of HACCP & GMP (essential)
- Comfortable making quick decisions and solving problems on the run
- Strong communication skills—clear direction, calm under pressure, consistent follow-up
- High standards around quality, safety and housekeeping
