Join Our Team as a Disability Support Worker!
We are seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality support to NDIS participants in the
Bannockburn / Inverleigh areas. This role would suit a confident support worker who has experience working with NDIS participants and is comfortable providing hands-on support to clients with complex care needs.
Availability:
- Thursday–Saturday between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM | Minimum 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including toileting and showering assistance
- Supporting clients with daily living activities
- Cooking, meal preparation and household tasks
- Community access and social engagement
- Manual handling and safe transfers
- Medication assistance, where appropriately trained and authorised
- Supporting positive behaviour and implementing individual support strategies
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Current Manual Handling training and practical experience
- Relevant NDIS worker screening and other required checks, as applicable to the role.
- Right to work in Australia.
- A valid driver's licence, appropriate vehicle insurance and access to a reliable vehicle, where required for the role.
