Pod Squad Learn to Swim is a boutique, family-run swim school located in Allambie Heights on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We are passionate about helping children develop confidence, water safety skills and a lifelong love of swimming.
We are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic swim teacher to join our supportive team. This role would suit an experienced swim teacher or someone with a background in childcare, education, nursing, coaching or allied health who is looking for meaningful work and a long-term home.
Available HoursTuesdays
- Morning: 7:00 am – 9:00 am
- Afternoon: 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Fridays
- Morning: 7:30 am – 9:30 am
- Afternoon: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Potential Additional Hours
As the business continues to grow, there is the opportunity to increase hours, including:
- Saturday afternoons: 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm
- Sunday mornings: 8:00 am – 11:30 am
About the Role
- Teach babies, preschool and school-aged children.
- Deliver fun, engaging and safe swimming lessons.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Work alongside an experienced and supportive team.
- Ongoing mentoring and professional development provided.
About You
- Passionate about working with children.
- Friendly, reliable and professional.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Looking for a long-term position.
- Previous swim teaching experience is highly regarded.
- Mature-aged applicants are encouraged to apply.
Essential Requirements
- Working With Children Check.
- Current CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in Australia.
