The Opportunity
We are seeking 2 Facility A Aseptic Filling Operators and they would be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of aseptic filling equipment and associated manufacturing processes within Facility A. Reporting to the Facility A Filling Coordinator and Facility A Filling Team Leader, the role plays a critical part in delivering the manufacturing schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, cGMP compliance, and operational performance.
Working as part of a high-performing manufacturing team, the Aseptic Filling Operator will execute daily production activities including equipment setup, operation, monitoring, changeovers, line clearances, in-process checks, and documentation completion. The role is responsible for ensuring manufacturing activities are completed according to approved procedures, quality requirements, and production targets.
The position will contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, supporting investigations and troubleshooting activities, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and product supply. The Aseptic Filling Operator will work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply teams to ensure reliable and efficient commercial manufacturing operations.
The Role
- Operate and monitor aseptic filling equipment and manufacturing processes in accordance with approved procedures, cGMP requirements, safety standards, and production schedules.
- Perform equipment set-up, line clearances, changeovers, cleaning activities, routine operational checks, and in-process quality inspections to ensure equipment readiness and product quality.
- Complete manufacturing documentation, batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems accurately and in compliance with data integrity requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment, process, and quality issues while supporting investigations, deviation management, and corrective actions as required.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to maintain reliable operations, minimise downtime, and support ongoing equipment improvements.
- Contribute to a safe, compliant, and inspection-ready manufacturing environment while participating in training, qualification, and continuous improvement activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all manufacturing activities are conducted in accordance with site policies and procedures.
To Be Successful
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment within a GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Experience working in a production environment with responsibility for achieving manufacturing or operational targets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete batch documentation and operational records.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment or process issues.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work shifts and support manufacturing requirements as required.
