Moon Engineering Group Pty Ltd is a growing electrical, air-conditioning and HVAC services business based in Dandenong, Victoria. We provide installation, maintenance and repair services for residential and commercial clients, including electrical systems, air-conditioning systems, HVAC systems, security camera systems and related technical services.
We are seeking a full-time Airconditioning and Mechanical Services Plumber to join our team. The successful applicant will work on residential and commercial projects involving mechanical services, air-conditioning systems, HVAC-related pipework, heating and cooling systems, ventilation systems, condensate drainage, pumps, valves and related equipment.
Main duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications for mechanical services, air-conditioning and plumbing-related systems.
Installing, maintaining and repairing pipework and related components connected to heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
Assisting with the installation and maintenance of air-conditioning and HVAC systems, including related pipework, condensate drainage, heating systems and mechanical services components.
Installing and maintaining water supply lines, drainage connections, condensate lines, pumps, valves, fittings and related pipework.
Carrying out pressure testing, leak detection, fault finding and system checks.
Repairing and replacing pipes, valves, pumps, fittings, fixtures and related components.
Supporting work on air handling and conditioning equipment where required.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards, manufacturer requirements and workplace procedures.
Maintaining job records, materials usage records and client service reports.
Communicating with clients, suppliers and team members in a professional manner.
Required skills and experience
Applicants must have:
Relevant trade qualification or at least 3 years of relevant full-time work experience.
Experience in mechanical services plumbing, HVAC-related pipework, plumbing installation, maintenance, heating systems, cooling systems or similar technical services.
Experience with pipework installation, pressure testing, leak detection, repairs and general system maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and professional customer service skills.
Current driver’s licence preferred.
