About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns
- Performing repairs to manufacturer standards and specifications
- Completing complex diagnostic and technical repairs efficiently
- Collaborating with Service Advisors and Parts teams to achieve outstanding customer outcomes
- Supporting workshop productivity and technical excellence
- Maintaining accurate repair documentation and diagnostic reports
- Participating in manufacturer training and staying current with new vehicle technologies
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working within a dealership environment
- Toyota experience highly regarded but not essential
- A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Current manual driver's licence
- Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic
